    Westview is pleased to offera a new speech therapy program to help individuals with Parkinson's regain and maintain effective communication. The Speak Out! Program is a series of individual speech therapy sessions with a Westview speech-language pathologist.

    Speak Out! emphasizes speaking with intent and converting speech from an automatic function to an intentional act. Primary goals of the program are to strengthen muscles for speech and swallowing, and to teach patients to speak with intent.

    90% of people with Parkinson's are at risk of developing a weak voice that can lead to serious speech/swallowing difficulties. Take charge of your voice in just 12 sessions.
